KING FOOTBALL IS HERE!

We know that it hardly seems possible, King Football is once more practically upon us, and we at Pointwise have been preparing for yet another successful gridiron season (Our 40th). The Pros will be teeing it up in NFL Exhibition Play in a few weeks, and the regular season gets underway in less than two months. We once again take this opportunity to welcome both old and new subscribers, and to briefly explain our three services.

Service Number 1 - POINTWISE

This 23-paneled early week edition is mailed on Monday Afternoon. Its yearly growth can be attributed to long hours of hard word, resulting in the most comprehensive report of "Reference Ready" usable football knowledge found anywhere in any football newsletter in America. In '98, our NFL Rated Choices compiled a record of 48-27, from Week 4 on out. During the '87 & '88 seasons, we compiled a record of 40-19 on all choices given our TOP RATING OF "1". In 1980, we hit an amazing 23-of-27 College Choices rated "1". In '96, we posted a record of 20-11 on "1" Rated Choices, & went 79-42 (65%) on all College Rated Choices. Our MATHEMATICAL RATINGS posted an enviable record of 94-52 in 1986, a 33-15 record over the final 8 weeks of the '95 college season, a record of 98-61 during the '02 regular season, & a record of 48-33 (59.3%) for 2003's regular college season. And we went 96-67 on rated NFL Regular Season Plays in '03 & '04! Our Bowl Seasons only add to the luster: a superb 13-4 record in 1987, a 13-5 record in 1994, a 23-12 mark for the '90 & '91 bowl seasons, & a 14-4 bowl windup in '02, 11-4 on "1" Rated Choices over 5 consecutive bowl seasons. Service Number 2 - RED SHEET

The fact is that every year cannot be super, but just about every year has proven a success. And we have had may seasons recently that have bordered on the spectacular. Some examples of our consistency: in '73 & '74, we ran off a streak of 33 WINNERS, and only 5 LOSERS on our top 2 Weekly College & Pro Choices. Our top 2 College & NFL Choices ran up a record of 40-20 in '76. PACKAGE DEAL

If you were to total the three prices individually, you would arrive at a total cost of $460. So once again, the savings are apparent. When most of our competitors are pricing themselves right through the ceiling, our yearly record proves that those inflated prices are a complete joke. We would like to remind you that your largest subscription savings occur when you subscribe before the season has begun.
